Its official….The Atlanta Braves have begun their spring training camp down in Florida, and will look to regain control of the National League West in 2012.  But until this week, many of the Braves players were honing a different talent other than baseball….Whirlyball! It didn’t take long until the spirit of Whirlyball competition and its addictive nature repeatedly brought pitchers Brandon Beachy, Rookie of the year Craig Kimbrel, Tommy Hanson and Cory Gearrin in to score big at our facility. Even the Mets new phenom Matt Harvey took part in the weekly Whirlyball battles, generally resulting in some impressive long range shots.  We wish all the guys a great spring camp and we will save a spot on our national team for all of our new Braves brethren!

Whirlyball Atlanta would like to thank all of our customers and their familys for their support this year!   Have a happy and safe holiday season and may next year bring more Whirly fun for everyone!  We will be closed on  Christmas Eve and Christmas day.

Next week we will be entering stage 2 of our renovations! Paint, upholstery new drink rails and by next week…bathroom remodeling! Our bar will also get some sprucing so be sure to come in and take a look around if you haven’t been here in awhile. On Friday July 22 Whirlyball Atlanta will host the Summer Bash with Moonlight Bride & Eat the Sun.
This show will be free admission and Whirlyball courts will feature open play all night!
Doors open at 8:00 with djs, snacks and great music so don’t miss it!

Beginning June 1 we will allow walk in games at $7.50 per person for 15 minutes of play!
Every Tues and Thurs from 11-3 pop in and play! (Reservations do take presidence over walk in play for partys that
have been booked to date so please check the site for updates!)
Minimum of 4 people for play 12 years+.

Here are the details!
Two sessions are available: June 6-10 and July 22-26
The camp will start at 9:30 and end at 1:30 each day.
Whirlyball will provide lunch each day for the kids: Pizza, sandwiches, chicken tenders, fruit trays, spaghetti, tacos and more!
Our camp will fill up each session at 30 kids so sign up now!
Activities include: Whirlyball games and skill training, various crafts, putt putt and movies at Aurora, an Olympics style competition at the end and much more!
